As an SEO Lead at Eridium Digital, you will own the strategy and execution of modern search growth for our clients, combining technical SEO, content-led SEO, AEO, and GEO to win visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery experiences. You'll lead a team of SEO professionals, guide cross-functional collaboration, and ensure that our SEO output stays ahead of algorithm shifts, SERP evolution, and generative search trends.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead end-to-end SEO strategies (technical, on-page, content, and performance SEO) aligned to client business goals.
- Drive measurable growth across rankings, organic sessions, leads, conversions, and visibility share.
- Conduct keyword + intent research, topic clustering, and content roadmap planning for scalable organic growth.
- Identify growth opportunities through competitor analysis, SERP analysis, and content gap audits.
- Optimise content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, AI Overviews-style SERPs, FAQs, and other answer-focused placements.
- Create/guide structured content formats (Q& A blocks, concise answers, definitions, lists, comparison tables, how-tos).
- Implement and improveschema markup(FAQ, HowTo, Organization, Article, Product, Review, LocalBusiness, Breadcrumbs, etc. ) and validate results.
- Develop strategies to improve visibility in AI-driven discovery(LLM-powered search and assistants).
- Strengthen brand/entity presence via topical authority, content credibility, and citation-worthiness.
- Collaborate with content teams to create expert-led, evidence-based content that is easy to interpret and reference in generative responses.
- Monitor shifts in AI search behaviour and update strategies accordingly.
- Run technical audits: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, canonicalization, hreflang (as needed), redirects, and JS SEO basics.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and page performance with dev teams (LCP, INP, CLS) and ensure SEO-friendly deployments.
- Manage SEO during migrations/redesigns: planning, redirects, traffic protection, post-launch monitoring.
- Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of SEO executives/specialists.
- Allocate work, set KPIs, ensure quality control, and maintain delivery timelines across accounts.
- Partner with content, social, performance marketing, and design teams to drive integrated growth.
- Proactively pitch experiments, audits, and new ideas without waiting for briefs.
- Own client communication for SEO strategy, progress, and performance.
- Create monthly reports and narrative insights using GA4 GSC and SEO tools.
- Translate SEO + AEO + GEO performance into clear business outcomes and next-step recommendations.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in SEO with demonstrable successes in ranking, traffic growth, and search visibility.
- Hands-on expertise in AEO, GEO, Semantic SEO, Structured Data, and SGE-driven search readiness.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and AI-powered search behaviour.
- Prior experience in a digital marketing agency is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer, or other advanced SEO platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and leading teams in an agency environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO techniques, AI-influenced search trends, and emerging best practices.
- Knowledge of digital marketing services such as website design/development, content marketing, paid media, and social media strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
- Experience working with AI tools for content optimisation, performance insights, or automation workflows.
