This role is ideal for someone who understands SEO fundamentals and also has working knowledge of website platforms like WordPress and Shopify. You will gain hands-on experience in optimising websites, improving search visibility, and working closely with developers and content teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in on-page and technical SEO activities across client websites
- Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking
- Support keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimisation
- Work on WordPress and Shopify websites for SEO implementation
- Assist in website audits including site speed, mobile optimisation, and basic technical SEO
- Coordinate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly execution
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Maintain SEO trackers and support basic reporting
- Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO)
- Working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced agency environment
