About the Role

We're looking for an SEO & GEO Manager to own organic growth across search engines (Google, Bing) and AI-driven discovery platforms (LLMs, generative search, answer engines). This role sits at the intersection of classic SEO, content strategy, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)ensuring our products, categories, and brand show up wherever users search, ask, or discover. You'll work closely with Product, Content, Engineering, and Growth teams to build a durable, compounding organic growth engine.

Key Responsibilities:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Own end-to-end SEO strategy across category, brand, and content pages.

Conduct keyword research, clustering, and search intent mapping for e-commerce use cases.

Optimize on-page elements: titles, meta, headers, internal linking, schema.

Drive technical SEO in collaboration with engineering.

Site architecture, crawlability, indexing.

Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile SEO.

Build and execute link-building & digital PR strategies.

Track and improve rankings, traffic, CTR, and organic conversions.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

Optimize content and site structure for AI search & answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.)

Work with content teams to create entity-rich, authoritative content.

Experiment with prompts, citations, and structured data to improve AI visibility.

Content & Entity Strategy

Build topical authority via content hubs, guides, and evergreen assets.

Define entity relationships (brands, ingredients, categories, benefits, use cases).

Collaborate with writers and designers on SEO-first and GEO-first content.

Ensure content aligns with both search demand and AI retrieval patterns.

Analytics & Reporting

Track performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and AI visibility tools

Build dashboards for:

1.Organic traffic & conversions

2.Keyword & category performance

3.AI citation & visibility tracking

Run experiments and report insights to leadership

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

36 years of hands-on SEO experience in e-commerce / D2C / marketplace

Strong understanding of:

Search intent & keyword mapping

On-page and technical SEO

Experience working with CMS, product pages, and large catalogues

Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills

Nice-to-Have:

Experience or strong curiosity around GEO / AI Search / LLM optimization

Familiarity with schema, structured data, and knowledge graphs

Experience collaborating with product & engineering teams

Exposure to marketplaces, aggregators, or content-heavy platforms
