Role Overview Description

About Us: Havana House is a leading premium cigar and spirits retailer in the UK, with 10 physical locations and a thriving e-commerce presence. We're seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to enhance our digital presence and drive organic growth.

Position Overview: We're looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies across our e-commerce platform and local store presence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in content optimization and local SEO, with the ability to drive results without heavy technical development requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for our e-commerce platform

Optimize product descriptions, category pages, and local store pages

Manage meta descriptions, alt tags, and other on-page SEO elements

Create and optimize content structure for premium product descriptions

Implement local SEO strategies for our 10 retail locations

Conduct regular SEO audits and provide performance reports

Develop content guidelines for product descriptions and educational content

Optimize product images and rich content for better search visibility

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proven SEO experience, particularly in e-commerce
• Strong understanding of content optimization and local SEO strategies
• Experience with product page optimization and category structure
• Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
• Experience in optimizing for local search results
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making

Desired Skills:

• Experience in luxury retail or premium products industry
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms
• Understanding of user experience principles
• Familiarity with structured data and schema markup
• Experience with multi-location businesses
