We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic SEO Executive to join The Knowledge Academy's digital marketing team. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who have a strong interest in on-page SEO and content optimisation, along with a foundational understanding of off-page and technical SEO concepts.
The candidate will work closely with senior SEO specialists and content teams to improve organic visibility and user experience across course, topic, and blog pages.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute on-page SEO activities, including optimisation of meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, URL structures, image alt tags, and content formatting.
- Assist in keyword research and search intent analysis for blogs, course pages, and topic pages.
- Optimise content for search experience enhancements such as featured snippets, FAQs, People Also Ask, and basic AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation).
- Coordinate with content writers to ensure pages are aligned with SEO best practices and E-E-A-T guidelines.
- Perform basic technical SEO checks, including indexing status, crawl errors, page speed issues, mobile friendliness, and Core Web Vitals (with guidance).
- Support off-page SEO activities such as backlink monitoring, basic link-building tasks, and competitor backlink analysis.
- Track SEO performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console, and assist in preparing regular reports.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, including GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AI-influenced search behaviour.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 03 years of experience or strong foundational understanding of SEO fundamentals, with emphasis on on-page SEO.
- Basic knowledge of off-page SEO and technical SEO concepts.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Understanding of basic HTML elements (title tags, meta descriptions, headings).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Awareness of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and voice search basics.
- Introductory understanding of GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AI-driven search trends.
- Interest in content optimisation and large-scale websites.
