Job Overview
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Executive / SEO Analyst with hands-on experience in improving organic search performance, especially for e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing on-page SEO strategies, keyword research, content optimization, and supporting technical SEO initiatives to drive traffic and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive keyword research to identify growth opportunities for organic traffic.
- Optimize website content, metadata, headings, URLs, and images for on-page SEO.
- Improve internal linking structure to enhance crawlability and user experience.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO-friendly content creation and optimization.
- Support basic technical SEO activities, including site audits, page speed optimization, mobile friendliness, and indexation issues.
- Manage and optimize SEO activities on WordPress-based websites.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Assist in link-building activities, including outreach and backlink analysis.
- Track rankings, traffic, and conversions; prepare regular SEO performance reports.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Working knowledge of internal linking strategies and SEO best practices.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO concepts.
- Experience working with WordPress CMS.
- Familiarity with link-building fundamentals and backlink analysis.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush or similar).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with product page SEO and category page optimization.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics.
