SEO Content Writer

Role Overview

We're hiring a Content Writer with strong SEO expertise to own our content pipeline — blogs, website copy, landing pages, and email campaigns. You'll work closely with our marketing team to produce content that drives organic traffic and supports conversions across our digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit SEO-optimised blog posts, articles, and landing pages aligned with business and audience goals
• Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, keyword density)
• Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to align content with search intent and ranking goals
• Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent publishing cadence across channels
• Build and manage topic clusters and content hubs to strengthen site-wide SEO authority
• Conduct competitor content audits and identify content gaps and opportunities
• Optimise existing content for improved rankings through periodic content refreshes
• Track content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush/Ahrefs, and iterate based on data
• Write compelling website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions as needed
• Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats for social/email
• Brief and collaborate with designers on supporting visuals, infographics, and multimedia content
• Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices
• Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, well-researched, and factually accurate
• Coordinate with subject matter experts across teams to ensure content accuracy
• Mentor junior writers and support quality checks across the content team
  
  

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in content writing with a strong focus on SEO
• Proven track record of writing content that has ranked/performed well organically (portfolio required)
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, or similar)
• Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and content structuring for search intent
• Excellent written English — clarity, grammar, and tone adaptability
• Ability to simplify complex information into clear, reader-friendly content
• Comfortable working with content calendars and meeting deadlines

• Familiarity with AI writing tools for research/drafting (with a strong editing eye)
