Designation: Content Lead – Healthcare (SEO)About the Role
We are looking for a
Content Lead – Healthcare (SEO) who will contribute as an individual writer while overseeing content quality for a small team of 2–3 writers. The role focuses on creating high-quality, medically accurate, and SEO-aligned content that is clear, compliant, and conversion-driven.
Key Responsibilities- Content Creation
- Write high-quality healthcare content including:
- Blogs, articles, and guides
- Service pages and landing pages
- Patient education content
- Simplify complex medical information into clear, user-friendly language
- Ensure content is engaging, trustworthy, and aligned with brand voice
- Content Review & Quality Control
- Review and edit content produced by junior writers
- Ensure:
- Medical accuracy
- Clarity, structure, and readability
- Grammar and consistency
- Alignment with SEO briefs
- Maintain high content quality standards across all deliverables
- SEO Content Execution
- Execute content based on SEO briefs, including:
- Keyword integration
- Search intent alignment
- Heading structure and formatting
- Internal linking
- Optimize content for rankings, CTR, and engagement
- Medical Accuracy & Compliance
- Ensure all content is factually accurate and ethically written
- Avoid misleading claims and maintain healthcare compliance standards
- Coordinate with medical reviewers/doctors for validation when required
- Team Guidance
- Provide feedback and direction to junior writers
- Improve team output quality through structured reviews
- Ensure timely delivery of content across the team
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with SEO, marketing, and design teams
- Support campaign content and landing page development
Required Skills & Experience Must-Have
- 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare/medical content writing
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient-focused writing
- Proven experience in SEO content writing
- Experience in editing and reviewing content
- Excellent English writing and proofreading skills
- High attention to detail and fact-checking ability
Good to Have
- Experience working with doctors or medical reviewers
- Exposure to healthcare brands (clinics, hospitals, D2C)
- Experience in conversion-focused content (landing pages)
- Familiarity with WordPress or CMS platforms
