You will own every organic acquisition number at SunCrypto: search visibility, clicks, organic traffic, AI-search appearances and organic app installs. You are accountable for growth, not activity reports.

About SunCrypto

SunCrypto is an FIU-IND registered Indian cryptocurrency exchange with over 1 million KYC-verified users, offering spot trading, perpetual futures, Crypto SIP, staking and P2P. Organic search and AI search are our most important acquisition channels, and this role reports directly to the CTO.

What you will own

• Organic KPIs: impressions, clicks, organic sessions (GA4), AI appearances, non-brand rankings, organic installs and organic-to-KYC conversion.
• Technical SEO: crawl and index health, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, sitemaps, canonicals, internal linking, structured data (FAQ, Organization, Product, Article) and llms.txt.
• GEO / AI search: structure content to get cited in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini; build entity and brand authority; track AI visibility monthly.
• Content: keyword research and topic clusters for coin and price pages, guides, crypto tax, SIP and futures education; write briefs, manage writers, refresh decaying pages.
• ASO: keyword, title, description and screenshot optimisation on Play Store and App Store; run listing experiments; monitor ratings and reviews.
• Authority: ethical link building and digital PR within crypto advertising norms.
• Reporting: a weekly dashboard with root-cause analysis on every drop, and a monthly plan with owners and dates.
• Engineering coordination: raise clear, prioritized SEO tickets and verify fixes after deployment.
• Compliance: all content follows ASCI guidelines for VDA advertising, no misleading return claims, ever.

Your first 90 days

• Day 30: complete a technical and content audit and deliver a dated recovery plan.
• Day 60: technical fixes shipped, top 20 decaying pages refreshed, GEO foundations live.
• Day 90: measurable uplift in clicks, organic traffic and AI appearances versus baseline.

Requirements

• 4–7 years in SEO, including 2+ years owning organic growth for a consumer app or website (fintech, crypto or trading preferred).
• A documented record of recovering or growing organic traffic, you will be asked for before/after numbers.
• Hands-on daily use of Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Looker Studio.
• Strong technical SEO: you can debug rendering on React / Next.js sites, write JSON-LD, read server logs and fix Core Web Vitals.
• Working knowledge of AI search / GEO and how large language models select and cite sources.
• ASO experience on both Play Store and App Store.
• Understand spot, futures, SIP and staking well enough to brief content accurately.
• Fluent in English and Hindi, with clear written reporting.

Nice to have

• Basic Python or SQL for data pulls and automation.
• Hindi-language SEO experience.
• Prior crypto exchange or trading-app experience.
