We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Workday HRIS Analyst with strong functional and configuration experience across multiple Workday modules. This role will partner closely with global HR, HR Operations, HR Centers of Excellence, and HRIS teams to design, configure, test, and support scalable Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Workday expertise, strong analytical skills, and a consultative mindset. This role requires someone who can translate business needs into sustainable configuration solutions while challenging legacy processes and driving best-practice, globally aligned outcomes.
About the Role
As a Senior Workday HRIS Analyst, you will:
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR COEs, HR Operations, Payroll, Learning, Talent, and Total Rewards teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional designs and Workday configuration strategies.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, validations, notifications, and related functionality.
- Support enhancements, optimization initiatives, regulatory updates, and Workday bi-annual releases.
- Evaluate current-state processes and recommend scalable future-state solutions aligned with Workday best practices.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, regression testing, and UAT.
- Partner with integration and payroll teams to support end-to-end testing across impacted workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, provide root cause analysis, and support production validation and hypercare.
- Collaborate with global HRIS team members, integration developers, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive design and consistent user experience.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement within HR technology and operations.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of HRIS experience with strong hands-on Workday configuration expertise.
- Experience across multiple Workday modules, including:
- HCM Core
- Compensation
- Talent
- Strong experience gathering requirements and translating them into Workday configuration.
- Proven ability to design and configure complex business processes.
- Strong testing discipline across unit, regression, and UAT cycles.
- Experience supporting Workday bi-annual releases.
- Ability to assess current-state processes and recommend scalable, future-state solutions.

- Workday certifications in one or more functional areas.
This role is based in India and requires regular overlap with U.S. Eastern Time, including availability through approximately 12:00 PM EST. Flexibility may be required during critical deployments, release cycles, or issue resolution periods.
