Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Finance Functional Consultant (R2R) to lead and support Workday Finance implementations. The role involves working closely with clients to understand record-to-report processes, configuring Workday Finance modules, and ensuring successful delivery across the full implementation lifecycle. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert, providing functional guidance, best practices, and client-facing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering and functional design for Record-to-Report processes.
- Configure and implement Workday Finance modules including Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Banking Settlement, Expenses, and Budgets.
- Drive end-to-end implementation activities including data migration, system testing, training, go-live, and post go-live support.
- Provide expertise on Workday Finance best practices, business process frameworks, and solution optimization.
- Develop and support financial reports and calculated fields as required.
- Act as a key client-facing consultant, managing stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the engagement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 69 years of experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant with multiple successful implementations.
- Workday Finance Certification (R2R) mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday configuration and implementation.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
