Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Security, and Talent & Performance modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing scalable Workday solutions, configuring modules, supporting integrations, driving testing activities. The consultant will collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to optimize Workday functionality and improve HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Compensation & Advanced Compensation

  • Configure and maintain Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation processes.
  • Design and support compensation cycles including merit, bonus, stock, and allowance plans.
  • Configure and maintain eligibility rules, compensation grades, compensation packages, and budgeting.
  • Support annual compensation review processes and audit activities.
  • Partner with HR and leadership teams to implement compensation strategies aligned with business goals.

Workday Security

  • Configure and maintain Workday security framework
  • Perform security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Troubleshoot user access issues and recommend security improvements.
  • Support security migrations and environment management activities.

Talent & Performance

  • Configure and support Talent Management and Performance Management processes.
  • Manage goal setting, career development, talent reviews, succession planning, and performance cycles.
  • Configure review templates, calibration settings, feedback processes, and talent dashboards.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders to improve employee engagement and talent development processes.

General Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Participate in system design workshops and provide best practice recommendations.
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements, and feature adoption activities.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and training materials.
  • Coordinate with integration and reporting teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Provide production support and resolve functional issues within timelines.
  • Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM implementations/support projects.

  • Experience with Workday business processes, calculated fields, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security architecture and governance.
  • Experience supporting global HR processes and compensation cycles and Exposure to multinational/global implementations/support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Workday certifications in Compensation, Security, or Talent modules preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
