Senior Workday Compensation & Advanced Compensation Test Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead testing activities for Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Execute functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Validate compensation events such as merit increases, bonuses, promotions, stock/equity awards, and one-time payments.
Test eligibility rules, compensation grades, plans, and business processes.
Verify Workday reports, calculated fields, and integrations related to compensation.
Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Coordinate with HR stakeholders, Workday functional consultants, and developers.
Support Workday releases and production deployments.
Prepare test documentation, test evidence, and status reports.
Mentor junior testers and participate in test planning.
Required Skills
4–5 years of Workday HCM testing experience.
2–4 years of Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation experience.
Strong understanding of compensation cycles, merit planning, bonus planning, and salary review processes.
Experience with Manual Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and UAT.
Knowledge of Workday business processes, security, and reporting.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Workday HCM or Compensation certification.
Exposure to Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) is an advantage.
Basic SQL knowledge.
