Summary role description:

Hiring a Sr. Workday Adaptive Analyst for the Global Competency Centre of a global logistics leader driving digital transformation and operational excellence.

Role details:

  • Title / Designation:Sr. Workday Adaptive Analyst
  • Location:Gurgaon
  • Experience: 8 to 14 years

Role & responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning lifecycle, including requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Act as a techno-functional SME, managing models, sheets, dimensions, reports, dashboards, and security.

  • Develop and maintain scalable planning models for multi-entity, multi-currency environments (workforce, capex, revenue, expenses, and scenario planning).

  • Build dashboards, reports, and integrations to enable data-driven insights and seamless data flow with Workday.

  • Partner with FP&A and business teams to streamline planning, ensure data governance, and provide ongoing user support and enhancements.

Candidate requirements:


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in the Workday ecosystem, including 2+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience (implementation and support).
  • Experience supporting at least one full Adaptive Planning implementation or major platform expansion.
  • Strong FP&A expertise in budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Experience building multi-dimensional planning models and managing performance optimization, data validation, and reconciliations.
  • Solid finance and accounting knowledge (GL, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Chart of Accounts, financial statements) with familiarity in multi-entity consolidations and reporting.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification (Implementation/Admin).
  • Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday Financials or HCM.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, and file-based integrations.
  • Experience in global, multi-country and multi-currency environments.
  • Prior experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
