Job Description
We are looking for a Senior WordPress PHP Developer with 4–6 years of experience to build scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions. In this role, you will architect and develop advanced WordPress platforms, integrate modern React-based frontends, and connect multiple third-party systems.
This position is ideal for developers who bring strong backend expertise, understand modern frontend ecosystems, and can deliver robust, enterprise-grade digital experiences. Experience with Magento 2 will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Skills
- Strong expertise in PHP (7.4/8.x) and advanced WordPress development.
- Hands-on experience with React.js, including component architecture and state management.
- Proven experience in third-party API integrations (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, SOAP).
- Strong understanding of MySQL, database optimization, and query performance.
- Knowledge of WordPress security, caching (Redis, Memcached), and performance tuning.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with headless or hybrid WordPress architectures.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, custom post types, and core functionalities using modern PHP standards.
- Build headless or hybrid WordPress architectures integrated with React.js frontends.
- Create dynamic and high-performance user interfaces using React.js.
- Design and implement complex integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, and marketing tools.
- Work on Magento 2 projects when required, including customization and API integrations.
- Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and performance across all deliverables.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and high-traffic environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX and frontend developers.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best coding and security practices.
