Role & Responsibilities :
We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to develop the WordPress websites and plugins. This person should be able to also drive data based decisioning, should be well versed with various development processes and techniques and tools.
Responsibilities:
Must have excellent knowledge of WordPress CMS & PHP
Designing and building the website front-end. PHP and HTML development outside of WordPress for landing pages, microsites, etc.
Creating the website architecture. Extending, managing, improvements to and debugging of some legacy code
Setup of WordPress options, plug-in installation, and configuration
Designing and managing the website back-end including database admin (MySQL) via PHP MyAdmin and server integration.
You should possess a good working knowledge of common SQL commands and their correct use.
Development of multiple server configurations including development, staging and production servers
Incorporating all necessary HTML and CSS into WordPress themes, templates and additional PHP and HTML pages
Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
Conducting website performance tests.
Troubleshooting content issues.
Conducting WordPress training with the client.
Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Documentation of your work for end users and commenting and proper organization of code so other team members can work with your code.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of WordPress development experience
Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and PHP
Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities.
Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Excellent communicator, fluent in both verbal and written English
