Senior Wordpress Developer

• Maintain, optimize, and enhance the existing WordPress-based application.
• Develop and integrate custom PHP functionality within the WordPress ecosystem.
• Work with APIs and third-party services to extend application capabilities.
• Debug and resolve issues related to WordPress plugins, themes, and custom PHP code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with WordPress development (plugins, and hooks).
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in WordPress and PHP applications.
• Prior experience working with WordPress security best practices is a plus
