WLAN Developer (Wi-Fi Driver Development)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced WLAN Developer with strong expertise in Wi-Fi technologies, Linux kernel networking, and embedded software development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing WLAN solutions for next-generation Wi-Fi platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate WLAN software solutions for customer-specific requirements.
- Work on Linux Kernel, WLAN drivers, networking subsystems, and firmware components.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex networking and Wi-Fi issues.
- Debug protocol-level issues using packet captures and network analysis tools.
- Optimize system performance, stability, and memory utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for software integration and product delivery.
- Review technical designs, code quality, and system architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in C Programming.
- Expertise in Wi-Fi Technologies (IEEE 802.11 standards).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 3 & Layer 4 Networking.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Kernel and Networking Subsystems.
- Experience in WLAN Driver Development and Debugging.
- Knowledge of Firmware Networking Components.
- Exposure to Hardware Acceleration and Offload Engines.
- Familiarity with NSS Firmware and System Bring-up.
- Strong debugging skills using protocol analyzers and sniffer captures.
- Experience with ARM-based Linux platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OpenWrt (Build System, DTS, Kernel Integration).
- Knowledge of QSDK-based Platforms and Wi-Fi Chipsets.
- Exposure to Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 7 Access Point platforms.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
- Candidates from Civil, Mechanical, and Biotechnology backgrounds are not preferred.
