Senior Wintel Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Wintel Infrastructure Engineerto design, manage, and optimize enterprise Windows infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise inWindows Server platforms, virtualization, enterprise storage, and automation, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring thestability, scalability, security, and performanceof the organization's core infrastructure.

• Manage and support enterpriseWindows Server environments (20122022+).

• Administer and maintain core Microsoft services including:

  • Active Directory

  • DNS

  • Group Policy

  • DHCP

  • Remote Desktop Services (RDS)

  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

  • Internet Information Services (IIS)
    
    

• Design and maintainhigh-availability systems, including Windows clustering and failover solutions.

• Manage server hardware, storage infrastructure, and system lifecycle operations.
  
  

• Administer and optimizeVMware ESXi and vCenter environments.

• ManageVMware vSAN infrastructureand virtualization clusters.

• Work with enterprise storage solutions such asNetApp and Pure Storage.

• Manage and maintain enterprise backup platforms including:

  • Veeam

  • NetBackup
    
    

• Ensure reliable backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies.
  
  

• Develop and maintain automation solutions usingPowerShell.

• Implement and manageInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC)practices.

• Build and maintain automation workflows using tools such as:

  • Terraform

  • Ansible
    
    

• Improve operational efficiency through automation and configuration management.
  
  

• Lead infrastructure projects including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

• Participate in architecture discussions and strategic infrastructure planning.
  
  

• Implement and manageidentity and access management (IAM)practices.

• Enforcerole-based access control (RBAC)policies.

• Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening initiatives.

• Ensure infrastructure meetsaudit, security, and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with security teams on incident response and risk mitigation.
  
  

• 10+ years of experiencemanaging enterprise Windows infrastructure.

• Strong expertise inWindows Server (20122022+)environments.

• Extensive experience with:

  • Active Directory

  • DNS

  • Group Policy

  • Windows clustering

  • DHCP, RDS, PKI, IIS
    
    

• Proven experience managingVMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.

• Experience with enterprise storage solutions such asNetApp or Pure Storage.

• Hands-on experience withbackup technologies (Veeam, NetBackup).

• Strong scripting and automation skills usingPowerShell.

• Experience withTerraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  
  

• Experience withhybrid cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

• Knowledge ofDevOps or platform engineering practices.

• Relevant certifications such as:

  • VMware certifications

  • Microsoft certifications

  • Infrastructure or cloud certifications.
