Job Description

The Windows & Virtualization Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise-level Windows and virtualization infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, performance, and reliability of virtualized and physical server environments supporting critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Hyper-V virtualization environments to support enterprise workloads
  • Administer Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
  • Perform VMware administration for virtualized environments using vSphere
  • Execute patch management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues and provide escalation support
  • Implement automation and administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and availability to ensure optimal operations
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and IT policies

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Hyper-V virtualization and Windows Server administration
  • Working knowledge of VMware vSphere environments
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
