We're looking for a video editor with a genuine feel for wedding storytelling — someone who can turn hours of raw footage into a film that makes people cry (the good kind).
What you'll do
- Edit wedding films (highlight reels, feature films, same-day edits) with pacing, music, and color that match the emotion of the day
- Understand wedding aesthetics — soft light, candid moments, cinematic transitions, trending styles (documentary, editorial, cinematic)
- Sync footage to music and dialogue/vows for maximum emotional impact
- Color grade for consistency across multiple cameras/lighting conditions
- Collaborate with videographers on shot selection and story arc
What we're looking for
- Strong portfolio of wedding or emotional/narrative edits (not just corporate or commercial work)
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut
- An eye for rhythm — knows when to let a moment breathe and when to cut
- Reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with deadlines around wedding season
- Bonus: motion graphics, drone footage integration, sound design
