GroPro Media is looking for a Senior Web Developer who is a strong, hands-on coder with solid expertise across both Front-End and Back-End development.

This role is ideal for someone who can independently build, develop, troubleshoot, optimise, and maintain web applications — rather than someone whose expertise is limited to basic WordPress customisation.

We are specifically looking for a hardcore developer who understands how websites work at both the user-facing and database/backend levels and can confidently work with code, systems, integrations, and development tools.

• Develop, maintain, and optimise responsive and high-performance websites and web applications.
• Handle end-to-end development, covering both Front-End and Back-End requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Develop and customise websites using WordPress, including themes, plugins, custom functionalities, and integrations.
• Work extensively with databases and backend systems.
• Identify and resolve technical bugs, performance issues, and development-related challenges.
• Build and integrate APIs and third-party services wherever required.
• Ensure websites are responsive, secure, fast, and cross-browser compatible.
• Manage website architecture, functionality, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and convert them into functional web solutions.
• Conduct regular testing, debugging, optimisation, and technical improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned development projects from implementation to deployment.

Strong hands-on knowledge of:

• Troubleshooting and performance optimisation

• Strong programming fundamentals
• Version control such as Git/GitHub
• Debugging and problem-solving
• Understanding of web servers, hosting, domains, and deployment
• Ability to work with development tools and software independently

The candidate must:

• Be a hands-on/core coder, not just a website operator.
• Have strong command over both Front-End and Back-End development.
• Have practical experience working with databases and backend systems.
• Be highly comfortable working with WordPress and custom coding.
• Be capable of developing functionality from scratch rather than relying entirely on pre-built plugins or templates.
• Have strong debugging and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Be comfortable learning and working with new software, technologies, and development tools.
• Be capable of independently handling technical requirements and development tasks.

• 3–4+ years of professional experience in Web Development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating actual development work.
• Experience handling complete web development projects will be preferred.
• Candidates with purely WordPress content-management experience without strong coding knowledge will not be considered.

Salary: 25,000 – 35,000 In-Hand per month
