Senior Wealth Underwriter

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning related to Wealth Underwriting
• Review, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for moderately complex high-net-worth loans to determine credit
• worthiness and monitor existing portfolio to identify issues that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; present
• recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations
• Independently resolve moderately complex business, operational, or technical issues and lead team to meet deliverables
• while leveraging solid understanding of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance
• requirements
• Develop solid understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth
• Investment Management client mortgages as needed
• Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve
• goals; serve as a mentor for lower level staff
• Provide input to assist leaders with credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations

Required Qualifications:

• 8-9 years of custom/commercial underwriting experience (including underwriting high net-worth individuals)
