Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Voice Engineer with strong expertise in Avaya and VoIP technologies to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise voice infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Avaya Aura architecture, VoIP protocols, and third-party integrations, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a 24/7 global support environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise voice solutions based on Avaya platforms
• Manage and maintain Avaya Aura components including Communication Manager (CM), Session Manager (SM), System Manager (SMGR), AES, and AEP
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice and network-related issues (SIP signaling, media flow, call routing)
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of voice infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors for integrations and issue resolution
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities
• Support voice transformation projects and infrastructure enhancements
• Work in a 24/7 support model and handle escalations effectively
  
  

Technical Skills Required:Avaya Expertise:

• Strong experience in Avaya Aura Architecture (CM, SM, SMGR, AES, AEP)
  
  

Protocols & Networking:

• In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols:
• SIP, H.323, RTP, SRTP
• Strong understanding of networking concepts:
• QoS, VLANs, TCP/IP

Tools & Platforms:

• Avaya Site Administration
• traceSM
• SAT commands
• Wireshark
• Linux-based systems
