Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior VLSI Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Senior VLSI Engineer will contribute to the design and development of high-performance, secure SoCs, working closely with architecture, verification, and physical design teams. Daily responsibilities include defining micro-architecture, developing and reviewing RTL, collaborating on logic and circuit implementation, and supporting synthesis, timing closure, and sign-off. The role involves active participation in design reviews, debugging functional and timing issues, and optimizing power, performance, and area across the design flow. The Senior VLSI Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, contribute to design methodology improvements, and coordinate with cross-functional partners and external vendors to ensure successful tapeout and productization.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in RTL Design and Logic Design, including experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog and micro-architecture definition.
• Hands-on experience in Circuit Design and Physical Design flows, including synthesis, floorplanning, place-and-route, STA, and sign-off.
• Solid understanding of Computer Architecture concepts such as pipelines, caches, memory subsystems, and interconnects.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor) and familiarity with modern process nodes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant VLSI or ASIC design experience, preferably in complex SoCs or high-performance IPs.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
