Job Purpose
We're looking for an imaginative and detail-oriented Senior Video Producer to lead the creation of high-quality visual content for our Input service. From concept to final cut, you'll play a key role in driving editorial integrity, storytelling innovation, and audience engagement across platforms. You will report to Input Editor, BBC Indian Languages.

Key Responsibilities
- This role involves editorial oversight, video production, making strategy and planning stories and series for Hindi service's social media platforms.
- You will develop original video concepts and oversee their execution from pre-production to post-production.
- This role will work with different video teams of BBC Indian Languages services and daily video output.
Requirements
Knowledge, skills, training and experience
- More than 8 years of relevant experience in a reputed media company.
- Understanding of emerging video formats, trends and storytelling styles
- Strong command over English with working proficiency in written and spoken Hindi
- Knowledge of International affairs, social-cultural issues of India.
- Knowledge of video production from ideation to final output.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics
- A broad understanding of the target audience is important.
- A high standard of editorial judgment and production skills.
