About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor who leads with instinct and executes with precision. In this role, you won't just be cutting footage — you'll be shaping narratives, mentoring a creative team, and setting the visual language for the content we put out. If you're someone who obsesses over pacing, understands the psychology of a well-placed transition, and can make motion graphics feel like they belong in the story rather than on top of it — we want to talk.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end post-production process for video projects across social, brand, and campaign formats
• Edit short-form vertical content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style) with a strong sense of narrative and platform context
• Conceptualise and execute motion graphics that elevate storytelling — not just decorate it
• Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, and clients to translate briefs into compelling visual stories
• Review and provide structured feedback on work produced by junior editors
• Maintain and evolve the team's post-production workflows, templates, and asset libraries
• Stay ahead of format trends, editing styles, and platform algorithm behaviour
  

What We're Looking For

Must-have:

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a creative agency or content studio
• Strong storytelling instinct — you understand structure, emotion, and pacing, not just software
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with the broader Adobe Creative Suite
• Hands-on experience with vertical short-format content
• An eye for motion graphics and the ability to execute them independently
• A portfolio that demonstrates range — different formats, tones, and industries

Good to have:

• Experience with Adobe Audition or DaVinci Resolve for colour grading
• Basic understanding of sound design and audio mixing
• Prior experience managing or mentoring junior creatives
• Familiarity with client-facing communication and feedback cycles
  

What This Role Is Not

This is not a template-and-export role. If you're looking for predictable, repetitive work — this probably isn't the right fit. We move fast, briefs evolve, and the best ideas often come in the edit. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and confident enough to push back when something isn't working creatively.
