Senior Video Editor

Job Description

Purple Seed is looking for a video editor to help brands execute marketing and content strategies on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Google, Youtube, LinkedIn. The individual will be in charge of editing videos for assigned brands and is expected to research, reference and innovate whilst doing so. It is important for the individual to stay up to date with trends, techniques and softwares. The selected executive will work closely with the strategy team to take briefs and feedback and report to his/her head as well as the operational head for the design team.

Key Responsibilities:

i)Create visually aesthetic and effective content for social media. This will include animations and real video content. (There may be additional work that might be assigned to the individual based on client/company requirements.

ii)Reading and understand briefs and references.

iii)Adhering to given timelines.

iv)Researching and staying updated with industry trends, design trends, techniques and softwares.

v)Understanding the platform that he/she is creating videos for.

vi)Following company processes and reporting to respective manager/s.

Requirements:

i)Agency experience - 1-2 years

ii)Must know - Premier Pro/ Final Cut Pro, After Effects

iii)Should be comfortable working with AI tools.

iv)Would be nice to also know - Photoshop, Illustrator

Working days and type:

Work Mode: Work from home opportunity

In-Person Requirement:

Attendance is compulsory for in-person meetings when required.

Work Week: Monday to Friday.

Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Compulsory to have a laptop.
