Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our team. As a Senior Video Editor, you will lead the post-production process, creating high-quality videos that align with our brand and captivate our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing:Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, presentations, and advertisements.
- Storytelling:Develop engaging narratives and ensure that the final product aligns with the project's objectives and audience.
- Team Leadership:Guide and mentor junior video editors, providing constructive feedback and overseeing their work to maintain quality standards.
- Collaboration:Work closely with directors, producers, content creators, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver on creative visions.
- Post-Production Management:Handle color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
- Asset Management:Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and proper archival of completed projects.
- Trend Monitoring:Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends to keep the company's content innovative and competitive.
- Quality Control:Review and ensure final deliverables meet technical and creative standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience:3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a leadership or senior role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and other relevant tools for motion graphics and image editing.
- Expertise in color grading, sound editing, and video compression formats.
- Creative Skills:Exceptional storytelling ability, attention to detail, and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
- Communication:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Time Management:Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Portfolio:A strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects and editing capabilities is required.
