House of Ataraxia is looking for a Senior Video Editor who understands storytelling beyond trends and transitions. We create visually rich, emotionally driven content across fashion, culture, lifestyle, hospitality, music, and brand narratives — and we're looking for someone who can turn raw footage into cinematic, internet-breaking edits.

This role is for someone with exceptional taste, strong visual instincts, and a deep understanding of pacing, emotion, music, motion, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Edit high-quality short-form and long-form content for campaigns, social media, advertisements, and brand films

•⁠ ⁠Create visually compelling reels, launch videos, mood films, interviews, and digital campaigns

•⁠ ⁠Handle the complete post-production process from rough cut to final delivery

•⁠ ⁠Work closely with creative directors, cinematographers, strategists, and social media teams

•⁠ ⁠Incorporate motion graphics, typography, animation, sound design, and cinematic transitions seamlessly

•⁠ ⁠Maintain organized workflows, timelines, and project files

•⁠ ⁠Stay updated with evolving editing styles, internet culture, music trends, and visual storytelling formats

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠3+ years of professional video editing experience

•⁠ ⁠Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of animation, motion graphics, and visual effects

•⁠ ⁠Experience with sound design, pacing, color correction, and cinematic storytelling

•⁠ ⁠Ability to create both polished luxury content and fast-paced digital-first edits

•⁠ ⁠Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Bonus Points If You

•⁠ ⁠Have experience with fashion films, hospitality, music videos, or luxury brands

•⁠ ⁠Can handle basic color grading and compositing

•⁠ ⁠Understand creative direction and visual identity building

•⁠ ⁠Shoot content as well

•⁠ ⁠Are deeply inspired by films, photography, music, design, and internet culture
