Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to lead the post-production process for high-quality video content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong storytelling mindset, advanced technical editing skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and production teams to deliver compelling visual content that aligns with brand goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the editing and post-production of video content including commercials, brand films, corporate videos, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams to shape narrative structure and visual storytelling.
- Perform advanced video editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics integration, and final delivery.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain and organise video assets, project files, and archives.
- Stay up to date with video trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies.
- Optimise video content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, websites, ads, etc.)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in video editing or post-production
- Strong proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visual composition
- Experience with colour grading, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
