About the Role

EDMO is looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor to lead visual storytelling across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in editing engaging short-form and long-form content for world class product explainers, product demos, client testimonial videos, podcasts, social media, brand campaigns, and SaaS/EdTech marketing initiatives.

This role requires someone who understands modern content trends, platform-specific storytelling, and audience retention strategies while maintaining a strong brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on AI/SaaS product explainer videos, demo videos, founder-led content, and educational storytelling.
• Edit high-quality videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasts, ads, and website campaigns.
• Create engaging short-form content including reels, shorts, snippets, and motion graphics.
• Collaborate with the marketing, content, and product teams to conceptualize campaigns and visual narratives.
• Add transitions, subtitles, animations, sound design, and visual enhancements for platform optimization.
• Ensure all content aligns with EDMO's brand tone and communication style.
• Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, and audience engagement techniques.
• Manage raw footage, assets, and editing workflows efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience editing founder-led or podcast-style content.
• Exposure to AI, SaaS, or EdTech brands.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media content, brand campaigns, or SaaS/EdTech projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Experience with motion graphics, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Understanding of social media algorithms, audience retention, and content performance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and creative collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of branding, digital marketing, and performance content.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted editing tools and workflows.
