Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, technically proficient Senior Executive – Video Editor to join our creative team at Dr. Veda . This role is for someone who lives and breathes video content and understands that a 30 second Meta ad requires as much craft as a 2 minute brand film. You will be responsible for the daily output of high quality video assets that drive both brand love and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Editing and Execution

• High Volume Output: Edit a consistent stream of videos daily, ranging from quick social media reels to polished brand films.
• Performance Marketing: Create high converting video assets for Meta (Facebook and Instagram), YouTube, and Amazon ads.
• Brand Content: Edit BTS footage, product launch videos, and educational skincare content that aligns with the Dr. Veda
• aesthetic.

Technical Mastery and Workflow

• End to End Workflow: Own the entire editing process from raw footage ingestion and logging to color grading, sound mixing, and final export.
• Software Expertise: Demonstrate absolute command over Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Creative Cloud suite.
• Daily Discipline: Manage your project files and assets with strict organization to ensure seamless collaboration with the wider team.

Creative and Motion Graphics

• Motion Knowledge: Apply working knowledge of After Effects to add text animations, transitions, and basic motion graphics that enhance storytelling.
• Color and Sound: Ensure every video has professional grade color correction (essential for skincare) and crisp, balanced audio.

You might be assessed through an assessment that will need to stand up to a certain professional standard that reflects Dot & Key skincare's audio visual style.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 9 years of solid video editing experience, preferably within a fast paced D2C and Beauty brand or a creative agency.
• D2C Native: You understand the hook, meat, and CTA structure of digital first video content.
• Software Pro: You are a power user of Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory) and have working knowledge of After Effects.
• Speed and Quality: You thrive on a couple of videos a day pace without letting the technical quality or brand aesthetic slip.
• Process Oriented: You follow a structured workflow that ensures error free exports and easy archiving.
