Role Overview

As a Senior Video Editor at CreateBytes, you'll be responsible for leading the creation of compelling video content that amplifies our brand, supports product storytelling, enhances social engagement, and communicates complex concepts simply and effectively. You will work closely with the Marketing, Design, and Product teams to conceptualize, edit, and deliver high-impact video content for internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead editing and production of videos for social media, website, campaigns, product demos, case studies, and events.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing and Product teams to define video concepts, storyboards, and deliverables aligned with strategic goals.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content incorporating animations, motion graphics, music/sound design, and visual effects where needed.
• Maintain brand consistency and visual quality across all video outputs.
• Optimize videos for multiple channels (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, blogs, etc.).
• Manage and maintain the video asset library (project files, transcripts, B-roll, graphics).
• Mentor junior editors and freelancers, and provide constructive creative feedback.
• Stay updated on video trends, software updates, and best practices in video storytelling and social formats.

Required Skills & Experience

58+ years of professional video editing experience (agency, studio, or in-house).

Strong portfolio showcasing video content across platforms and formats.

Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve).

Experience with motion graphics, animation, visual effects, color correction, and sound design.

Solid understanding of pacing, timing, storytelling, and visual composition.

Ability to work in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
