Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to lead our Global Talent Management strategy across a rapidly growing, multi-country workforce. The role will be responsible for shaping and executing an integrated talent strategy aligned to business growth priorities and future capability needs, while building a strong leadership pipeline through robust succession planning and high-potential talent development. It will drive consistent performance frameworks closely linked to business outcomes and enable future-readiness by designing competency frameworks and targeted development programs. The role will also proactively identify critical talent risks and implement effective retention interventions, while leveraging advanced analytics to generate actionable talent insights, track workforce trends, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Talent Strategy & Governance

  • Define and lead the global talent management strategy, frameworks, and annual calendar (performance, talent reviews, succession, leadership development).
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to make data driven talent investment and succession decisions.

  • Succession Planning & Leadership Pipeline

  • Own succession planning for executive and critical roles across functions and regions.
  • Ensure clear successor identification, readiness assessments, and development plans for key roles.
  • Build targeted pipelines for critical capabilities (e.g., digital, data, product, risk, insurance domain leadership where relevant).

  • Leadership Development & Coaching

  • Design and implement leadership development programs for:
  • First time managers
  • Mid-level leaders
  • Senior/executive leaders
  • Manage executive coaching frameworks, including selection and governance of external coaches.
  • Integrate assessment tools (e.g., 360s, leadership assessments) into development plans.

  • Performance Management & High-Performance Culture

  • Define and refine the performance management philosophy and framework (goal setting, check ins, ratings, calibration).
  • Lead performance calibration processes across business units and geographies.

  • Partner with Rewards to ensure performance, potential, and reward are integrated and aligned.
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and differentiation of performance.

  • Talent Reviews & Hi Po Management

  • Design and run enterprise talent review processes.
  • Drive Hi Po identification and development along with PAC: criteria, selection discipline, and accelerated paths
  • Ensure Hi Po talent has clear career paths and development interventions (rotations, stretch assignments, sponsorship).

  • Career Architecture, Capability & Internal Mobility

  • Design and maintain career architecture (role families, levels, competencies, progression criteria).
  • Partner with L&D, PAC and Total Rewards on defining the capability framework to assess current and future skills.
  • Collaborate with Business leaders on cross functional moves and global assignments.
  • Assessment and creation of career pathways across domains/enabling functions in line with the growing needs of the organization and talent
  • Increase internal mobility

  • Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Partner with PAC and business leaders on medium term workforce planning (1–3 years).
  • Provide input on org design, spans & layers, and leadership structure to support strategy
  • Identify critical capability gaps; shape build/buy/borrow strategies with TA and L&D

  • Retention of Critical Talent

  • Design and drive targeted engagement and retention interventions for critical talent segments and key roles
  • Partner with PAC to support culture-shaping initiatives and leadership behaviors that reinforce desired values.

  • Talent Analytics & Insights

  • Build and manage talent dashboards and analytics for leadership:
  • Succession coverage and bench strength
  • Hi Po pipeline health
  • Internal fill rates and mobility
  • Critical talent retention and risk
  • Provide insightful, actionable recommendations to the C suite based on talent data and trends

  • Global Team Leadership & External Partnerships

  • Lead and develop a global Talent Management / Leadership Development team across regions.
  • Select and manage external partners (assessment providers, business schools, leadership development and coaching vendors).
  • Ensure solutions are globally consistent yet locally relevant.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 20+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant time in talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise level talent and leadership programs.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization across multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Demonstrated success in partnering with C suite / senior business leadership on talent and succession.
  • Master's degree (HR, OD, Business, or related field) preferred; advanced HR/OD certifications (e.g., coaching, assessment, leadership development) are advantageous.
