Role Overview
As a Solutions Architect, you will bridge customer and product needs with Agentic and Assist technical capabilities: solution design on W-OS, integration patterns with client systems, and alignment with Descrial's Java/Spring core and Python AI services. You work with sales, product, and engineering to deliver repeatable, secure, multi-tenant solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Solution and Integration Design ▪ Lead discovery workshops; translate requirements into integration architectures (APIs, auth, data flows, tenancy). ▪ Design end-to-end solutions combining core W-OS services and Agentic/Assist (LLM features, RAG, knowledge graph, over client approved data, agent workflows). ▪ Produce architecture diagrams, NFR matrices (security, performance, compliance), and implementation of roadmaps. ▪ Validate feasibility with engineering leads; manage trade-offs (build vs. configure, MVP vs. scale). Backend and Platform Alignment ▪ Ensure designs respect multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and Observability (logs, metrics, traces). ▪ Align with AWS patterns (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, networking) and CI/CD expectations. ▪ Coordinate API contracts between Java microservices and Python AI services Quality, Risk and Delivery ▪ Support pilot and production cutovers; identify risks (data residency, latency, model behavior) and mitigations. ▪ Contribute to presales technical responses, PoC scoping, and documentation for customers and partners AI/ LLM Integration ▪ Advise on appropriate use of LLMs (RAG vs. fine-tuning vs. agents); set expectations on limitations and governance. ▪ Stay current on LangChain / LangGraph / OpenAI-class capabilities as they map to Descrial's roadmap
Prerequisites
▪ 8+ years in software or infrastructure roles; 5+ years in solution / enterprise / technical architecture
▪ Strong grasp of REST, cloud (AWS), SaaS multi-tenancy, and security fundamentals
▪ Hands-on familiarity with backend stacks (Python and/or Java); ability to read APIs and debug integration issues with engineering
▪ Excellent communication and stakeholder management; experience in client-facing technical discussions
▪ Prior PE / investment / financial services or research workflow domains
▪ Experience scoping LLM/RAG projects and data governance for enterprise
▪ Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, etc.)
Experience
8+ years in software or infrastructure roles; 5+ years in solution / enterprise / technical architecture
Education
Bachelor's or master's in engineering, computer science, or related (or equivalent experience)
Compensation
The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
