About The Role
This role develops strategic insights and plans for Consumer Banking Group Singapore. You will partner senior leaders to shape and communicate the business strategy across the bank, bring external perspectives and forward-looking analysis into decision-making, and identify emerging factors that could influence strategic priorities and business outcomes.
This role sits within the Strategic Planning and Program Management function of the COO office in Consumer Banking Group Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Support the Consumer Banking Group Singapore Head and COO in strategic planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to define short and long-term business priorities.
- Proactively identify and analyze emerging trends through research, providing recommendations to shape strategic direction.
- Gather and synthesize insightful information from external sources to provide key focus areas for the business.
- Share insights and focus areas with management to inform strategic business actions and refine execution.
- Translate complex information into clear, concise messages for various stakeholders.
- Develop compelling narratives and presentations to articulate the business vision, including executive leadership, regulatory bodies and external partners.
- Develop and drive top of house leadership engagement plans.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant experience in strategic planning.
- Growth mindset, open-mindedness, and resilient.
- Possesses strong critical, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and has a strong sense of accountability.
- Adept at collaborating effectively with diverse seniority of stakeholders and driving towards rights outcomes.
- Able to synthesize information, connect dots to a strategic picture, and communicate complex topics clearly to different stakeholders, especially senior management.
- Able to deliver high-quality executive presentations quickly with attention to detail.
- Excellent office skills, particularly in PowerPoint.
