Senior Vice President (SVP) – Private Equity Fund Accounting - Night Shift
Location: Pune, Gurgaon, Bangalore
Role Purpose:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the global private equity fund accounting platform, driving transformation, scalability, governance, and delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership
- Own global Private Equity /Real Assets Fund Accounting strategy
- Drive scalable operating models across geographies
- Partner with leadership on fund launches and expansion
- Lead cost optimization and vendor strategy
- Process Excellence & Governance
- Oversee financial reporting, capital activity, and investor servicing
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, AIFMD, FATCA/CRS
- Establish strong control frameworks (SOX aligned)
- Drive automation, standardization, and transformation initiatives
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as senior relationship owner for LPs/GPs
- Lead governance forums and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with IR, Tax, Compliance and Deal Teams
- Platform, Data & Technology
- Own technology roadmap (Investran, eFront, Allvue)
- Drive automation, analytics, and reporting tools
- Establish strong data governance and security
- Leadership & Talent Strategy
- Lead global teams and succession planning
- Drive capability building and workforce planning
- Build high performance culture and retention strategies
Qualifications
- 16–20+ years in Private Equity or Real Assets Fund Accounting
- CPA/ACA/CFA preferred
- Strong expertise in PE structures, waterfalls, and reporting
