Role Purpose

The role is responsible for running an effective, reliable, responsive and dynamic FP&A function that provides the MD-CEO, CFO and SMT across the organization with financial planning and analysis support that facilitates effective decision making, provide insights and challenges to ensure business leaders develop, agree and deliver on the strategic and financial plans. This role is also responsible for supporting decision making at a senior level, highlighting key financial trends and variances. The responsibilities also include tracking strategic plan, run future financial projections, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and review of the P&L/business metrics, capital adequacy, assets quality, scenario analysis, capital expenditure and investment appraisals.

Role Accountability

  1. Formulate annual plans with detailed budgets across organization along with long term planning to assess capacity requirement and augmentation Analyze competitor and market information (financial and business metrics) to provide insights to assist decision making
  2. Develop financial and business KPIs to assess success of business and financial strategy and prepare strategic/annual plans presentations for Board
  3. Track performance against key targets and outcomes and produce regular corporate level management information to all senior management and publish regular performance review reports highlighting trends, key actions, and strategic implications
  4. Monitor adherence to MOU plans, prepare short/medium term forecast, create monthly/quarterly forecasts, path to profitability, other business metrics as required by CFO/MD on time to time basis
  5. Ensure budgetary control on actual expenditures and establish various cost metrics and benchmarks and track actual performance across units/verticals, recommend cost saving initiatives
  6. Assist CFO in finalizing various reports and presentations to the Board of Directors, lead annual report preparation for finance function in coordination with other business functions, provide inputs for investor presentations for AGM
  7. Monitor and ensure effective CBA, NPI profitability models to analyze pricing, benefits etc. based on functional inputs for SMT, various committees lead scenario analysis, during various business phases and engage in new proposals, project evaluations
  8. Interact with institutional shareholders, mutual funds, FIIs, DIIs, rating agencies etc., arrange Conferences, Roadshows, Earnings transcript calls, and investors interactions whenever required
  9. Act as liaison between the company and analyst community on financial/business matters facilitate financial analyst meetings and responding to questions, review analyst reports
  10. Oversee process documentation and compliance adherence

  3. Number and depth of analysis on company profitability, channel profitability, Corporate Card Profitability, Transactor and Revolver Analysis, NPIs, Vintage and Product level profitability
  4. Ensure timely reporting of P&L and variance over plan etc. to relevant internal & external stakeholders
  5. Timely and accurate annual budget preparation
  6. Number of quality interactions with the institutional investors
  7. Timely and accurate updation of process documentation
  8. Timely Audit closure with satisfactory rating
  9. Process Adherence as per MOU
