We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Cash Processing/Funds Transfer Manager to join our GPTSO team. This role is located in Chennai
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work closely with the Treasury Services Clients throughout the client lifecycle:
- Take ownership of and drive continuous improvement in service delivery standards
- Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex operational issues.
- Ensure seamless support for both client onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Partner with Treasury Services Product and Relationship teams
- Develop client-centric solutions and establish comprehensive operational procedures and controls.
- Provide input in the prioritization of strategic business initiatives by constructing strong business cases.
- To work in conjunction with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Client Service teams to move from Good to Great in every process we do.
- Deliver effective leadership to teams
- Demonstrate capability in building teams from inception, providing functional training, and enforcing measures to uphold domain expertise and maintain high service delivery standards.
- Lead the adoption of AI and digital tools to optimize and streamline processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Applies in-depth knowledge and expertise in Trade Finance service offerings
- Owns the quality and delivery of the Trade Finance processes related to US & Frankfurt regions
- Act as a subject matter expert to identify potential issues within Trade Finance processes and implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Drive the creation of cross-trained capabilities among global teams to strengthen business resiliency plans.
- Foster the development of high-performing teams by implementing performance management processes and leveraging Be future ready at BNY resources
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 20+ years of total work experience with at least 8+ years in Trade Finance domain and 10+ years in team management preferred.
- Good understanding of ICC guidelines and local regulatory requirements is preferred. Trade Certifications (example: CDCS, CSDG etc.) is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/Post graduation degree preferred.
