About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned Sr. Validation Engineer to lead post‑silicon validation for advanced SoCs and semiconductor platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in bare‑metal bring‑up, complex interface validation, and cross‑functional debug across hardware, firmware, and system layers.
What You'll Work On
- Leading post‑silicon validation for next‑gen SoCs, including feature, performance, and power validation.
- Driving bare‑metal system bring‑up, boot flow validation, and low‑level driver testing.
- Validating Ethernet MAC/PHY, USB, ISP, MIPI CSI/DSI, and camera subsystems.
- Collaborating with architecture, RTL, firmware, and DFT teams to ensure first‑time‑right silicon.
- Developing validation plans, coverage models, and automation frameworks.
- Performing deep system‑level debug using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and JTAG tools.
- Reviewing documentation, mentoring junior engineers, and improving validation methodologies.
What You Bring
- 10+ years in silicon validation, SoC integration, and bare‑metal system validation.
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Ethernet Controller & PHY protocols
- USB 2.0/3.x
- ISP pipelines, image tuning, sensor bring‑up
- MIPI CSI‑2 / DSI and camera subsystems
- Solid understanding of firmware validation, low‑level drivers, and HW/SW interaction.
- Strong debug skills with industry‑standard tools.
- Proficiency in Python, C, or similar languages for automation.
- Bonus: Knowledge of LPDDR, SD/SDIO/eMMC, compliance test suites, or pre‑silicon validation.
