Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Umbraco / .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Umbraco CMS and Microsoft technologies.
The ideal candidate will have strong architectural capabilities, hands-on development expertise, and experience working in Azure cloud environments.
This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive best practices, mentor team members, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Umbraco CMS (v8/v9/v10+) and ASP.NET MVC/Core.
- Architect and implement custom Umbraco components, extensions, and integrations.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure seamless front-end integration.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services into Umbraco-based platforms.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and oversee application deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Azure environments, including App Services, hosting configurations, and deployment pipelines.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Umbraco and .NET technologies and recommend continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in web development with strong expertise in Umbraco CMS.
- Proficiency in :
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core
- NET Framework /.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, deployments, hosting configuration).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, security standards, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
