Description
We are seeking an experienced Umbraco Developer to join our team on a contractual, hybrid basis.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, self-driven, and capable of delivering scalable, high-quality CMS-based solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This role is best suited for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and can take ownership of development tasks from design through deployment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Umbraco CMS (v8/v9/v10+)
- Customize Umbraco components, templates, and workflows to meet business requirements
- Develop backend functionality using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC architecture
- Build responsive and user-friendly UI using Razor, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Integrate third-party and internal APIs to support application functionality
- Work with SQL Server for database design, queries, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
- Support deployment and maintenance activities, including exposure to Azure environments
- Follow best practices, coding standards, and Agile development methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Umbraco development
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC
- Experience with Razor views and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and relational databases
- Experience with API integrations (RESTful services)
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure (App Services, Deployment, or related services)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Preferred / Good To Have
- Experience working in contractual or hybrid roles
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
- Prior experience with enterprise CMS implementations
