About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Treasury Markets, DeFi & Automation Specialist to join our Treasury team and play a key role in managing digital asset liquidity, treasury markets, DeFi operations, and treasury automation.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced professional who is passionate about blockchain technology, digital asset markets, and process automation. You will be responsible for optimizing capital deployment across centralized exchanges (CEX), decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and market-making activities, while driving automation and AI initiatives to enhance treasury efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

1) Treasury Markets & Liquidity

• Manage digital asset liquidity across centralized exchanges, custodians, and treasury wallets.
• Execute treasury funding, asset rebalancing, and liquidity optimization strategies.
• Support market-making activities by monitoring inventory, funding requirements, and exchange balances.
• Coordinate with internal trading teams and external market makers to ensure efficient liquidity management.
• Monitor collateral positions, exchange exposure, and settlement activities.

2) DeFi Operations

• Manage treasury positions across DeFi protocols, including liquidity pools, staking, lending, and yield-generating strategies.
• Evaluate new DeFi opportunities based on risk, liquidity, and return objectives.
• Monitor on-chain positions, protocol performance, and smart contract risks.
• Execute blockchain transactions and maintain institutional wallet operations.

3) Treasury Automation & AI

• Design and implement automation solutions for treasury operations, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Integrate APIs with exchanges, custodians, banking partners, and blockchain data providers.
• Build dashboards to monitor liquidity, treasury balances, wallet positions, and operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve straight-through processing (STP) and reduce manual processes.
• Explore AI-driven solutions for treasury forecasting, anomaly detection, reconciliation, and operational reporting.

4) Operational Excellence

• Perform treasury reconciliations and investigate operational exceptions.
• Develop and enhance treasury SOPs, operational controls, and governance frameworks.
• Support new exchange, banking, custodian, and DeFi protocol integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury efficiency, scalability, and operational resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in Digital Asset Treasury, Market Making, Trading Operations, DeFi, or Crypto Infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain networks, digital asset custody, and treasury management.
• Hands-on experience with centralized exchanges, DeFi protocols, and blockchain wallet operations.
• Experience with API integrations and treasury workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).
• Experience with blockchain analytics platforms such as GoldRush, Covalent, Dune, or similar tools is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting stablecoin issuers, digital asset exchanges, or institutional crypto businesses.
• Knowledge of market-making strategies, liquidity management, and tokenomics.
• Familiarity with institutional custody solutions and multi-signature wallet infrastructure.
• Experience building AI-powered operational tools or treasury automation workflows.
