Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Senior Travel Consultant who can lead from the front - managing a team, driving sales, generating leads, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences that translate into strong reviews and repeat business.
This role requires a mix of leadership, sales expertise, customer handling, and travel planning knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of travel consultants
- Set sales targets and ensure team performance meets business goals
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews
- Build a high-performance, customer-first team culture
2. Sales & Lead Conversion
- Handle high-value and complex travel queries (domestic & international)
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings with strong persuasion skills
- Design customized travel itineraries based on client requirements
- Maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling
3. Lead Generation & Business Growth
- Drive lead generation through multiple channels (calls, referrals, digital platforms, partnerships)
- Collaborate with marketing team to improve lead quality
- Identify new business opportunities and customer segments
4. Customer Experience & Review Management
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the travel lifecycle
- Proactively collect Google reviews, testimonials, and referrals
- Handle escalations and ensure quick resolution
- Maintain high customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores
5. Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, hotels, airlines, and ground partners
- Ensure smooth execution of travel plans
- Stay updated with travel trends, destinations, visa requirements, and pricing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 4–5+ years in travel industry (agency or tour operator preferred)
- Strong expertise in international & domestic travel planning
- Proven track record in sales and lead conversion
- Experience in team handling or leadership role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer handling and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working with CRM tools and travel platforms
