About the Role

The Travel Consultant Operations will be responsible for independently managing the end to-end operations of international tours and travel programs. The role requires closecoordination with global vendors, U.S.-based clients, and internal leadership.

This position demands strong operational expertise, commercial acumen, and a customer-first

mindset to ensure seamless tour execution and exceptional travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Tour Operations & Execution

Independently manage operations for international tours and travel programs

Coordinate pre-tour planning, on-tour execution, and post-tour closure

Act as the primary point of contact during tours to ensure smooth operations and

customer satisfaction

RFQs & Vendor Coordination

Respond to RFQs from clients and prepare detailed tour proposals

Liaise with airlines, B2B travel partners, overseas hotels, cab operators, and tour guides

Coordinate bookings and confirmations with service providers

Commercial & Profitability Management

Negotiate with vendors post-booking to improve margins and cost efficiency

Monitor operational costs and ensure adherence to budgets

Customer & Payment Coordination

Coordinate with customers for booking confirmations, payments, and collections

Ensure clear communication regarding itineraries, inclusions, and timelines

Stakeholder Management

Maintain strong working relationships with international vendors and partners

Coordinate internally with sales, finance, and leadership teams

Qualifications

MBA / Master's Degree in Travel & Tourism from a reputed institute (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Travel, Hospitality, or related field

Experience

35 years of relevant experience in the Travel & Tourism industry

Proven experience in handling international tour operations

Required Skills & Competencies

Ability to handle responsibilities independently with minimal supervision

Strong expertise in:

o Itinerary preparation

o International ticketing

o Tour package design

o Visa coordination and documentation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and crisis-handling skills

High attention to detail and accuracy in operations

Customer-centric approach with focus on service excellence

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Effective time management and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment

Should have driving license and should be well versed in driving too.
