Senior Transportation Planner

Job Summary

The Senior Transportation Planner supports the Transport Planning & Traffic Engineering team by delivering traffic demand analyses, master plans, and impact studies for moderately complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct transportation data collection (e.g., traffic counts) in coordination with project teams.

Coordinate with Traffic Modelers to develop traffic models and network simulations.

Support in trip generation analysis, O-D matrix development, and traffic volume assessments.

Prepare drawings such as circulation plans, parking layouts, and signage plans.

Develop transportation and traffic impact study reports for moderate-complexity projects.

Review and validate transport and traffic studies with clients and authorities.

Perform peer reviews of design deliverables and provide feedback to junior team members.

Skill Sets:

Hands-on experience with key traffic modeling tools such as VISUM(Mandatory), VISSIM, Synchro, MXROAD, SIDRA, HCS, AutoTURN, CUBE, and similar software.

Strong knowledge and proven experience in transport planning and traffic engineering.

Solid understanding of international engineering standards, guidelines, and codes.

Proficiency in transport and land-use planning, traffic modeling, and ITS-related systems.

Experience & Qualification:

• Masters in Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering / Management or related topics are preferred
• 8+ years of industry experience in the transportation planning and traffic engineering
