Your role

  • Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor's Degree with Master's degree in transport planning)
  • Working experience (8 + years) in Transport appraisal software like TUBA, COBALT, WITA, AMAT and bespoke spreadsheet assessments.
  • Experience and knowledge of Transport Economic concepts and guidance.
  • Knowledge of the technical transport planning environment
  • Strong numerate and analytical abilities, including high degree of competence in MS Excel
  • Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project
  • Good written communication skills
  • Be able to work Individually.

About you

  • Be highly self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Be able to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers.
  • Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Knowledge and experience of UK regional modelling guidance and approaches
  • Experience in the use of analytical and research tools such as GIS and the use of databases
  • An appreciation of the transport industry and related policy context
  • Professional membership of a relevant institution.
  • Experience in programming skills like Python, PowerBI, Excel-VBA and R.
  • Experience in handling task management.
