Job Description

Job Title: Training Coordinator – Global Research

Role Overview

The Training Coordinator will play a central role in designing, orchestrating, and operating training initiatives across Global Research. This role goes beyond logistics - serving as an autonomous owner of our Research Launchpad, Training Hub, and global training ecosystem, while partnering closely with research client services team, technology teams, The Academy, and global stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine operational excellence, strong business acumen, and outstanding interpersonal skills. They will be comfortable running meetings with global partners, building trusted relationships across Research, and stepping into a facilitator or presenter role when needed. This role requires confidence, intuition, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy, Platforms & Governance

  • Own and manage the Research Launchpad and Training Hub, ensuring content is current, intuitive, and aligned with Global Research priorities
  • Maintain and publish global training calendars, coordinating across regions, disciplines, and coverage areas
  • Partner with Tableau experts to manage, enhance, and interpret training dashboards and reporting
  • Ensure training content is well-governed, easy to navigate, and scalable across Global Research

Program & Event Execution

  • Lead end-to-end coordination of global training initiatives (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) remotely (mindful of timezones)
  • Serve as the primary meeting owner and facilitator for training initiatives involving global research stakeholders and partners
  • Liaise with technology and AV partners to ensure meeting rooms, tools, and systems are fully set up and tested prior to in-person events
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve issues to ensure seamless execution

Training Recording, Video & Content Management

  • Record training sessions using Camtasia
  • Manage the full training video inventory, including organization, versioning, access, and lifecycle management
  • Perform light-to-moderate video editing as needed (trimming, cleanup, titles, annotations)
  • Ensure training content is professional, polished, and ready for on-demand consumption

Stakeholder Partnership & Business Alignment

  • Quickly develop a strong working understanding of Global Research, including:
  • Key leaders and stakeholders (who's who)
  • Research disciplines across Equity, FICC, and Macro
  • Different coverage models and analyst workflows
  • Build strong working relationships across global teams, gaining trust as a reliable and solutions-oriented partner
  • Confidently engage with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, adapting communication style as needed

Training Delivery & Facilitation (As Needed)

  • Deliver training sessions when required, virtually
  • Present clearly with strong articulation and confident presence
  • Facilitate live sessions, manage Q&A, and keep audiences engaged
  • Represent the training function professionally in front of global audiences and on recorded content

AI, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Demonstrate strong interest in AI tools that support training, enablement, and productivity
  • Apply prompting skills (highly desired) to improve content creation, workflows, and learning experiences
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or modernize training processes
  • Continuously refine training based on feedback, data, and evolving business needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3–7 years of experience in training coordination, learning & development, program management, or a related role
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and proactively
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience running meetings with global, cross-functional participants
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred / Strongly Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting training within Global Research, Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets
  • Hands-on experience with video recording tools like Camtasia, including recording and editing
  • Experience managing learning hubs, content repositories, or training platforms
  • Familiarity working with Tableau or analytics partners
  • Demonstrated interest in AI tools and modern enablement approaches
  • Experience with prompting / prompt engineering (significant plus)
