Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Track Design Engineer with strong expertise in railway structures and ballastless track design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in structural design, railway standards, design calculations and coordination with CAD/BIM teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design ballastless track structures including Plinth Track, Slab Track on Viaduct, Slab Track on At-Grade, Steel Pedestal Track and Level Crossing Track.

• Design miscellaneous track structures including Ballast Containments, At-Grade Slabs, Transition Slabs and Sleepers.

• Prepare Design Basis Reports, Design Calculation Reports, Technical Specifications and other engineering documents.

• Conduct and review Rail Structures Interaction (RSI) Studies.

• Understand and manage interface requirements between Track and other Systems.

• Guide and provide technical support to Junior Engineers in structural design activities.

• Coordinate with CAD and BIM teams for preparation and review of drawings and models.

• Ensure design deliverables comply with project requirements and applicable railway standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering.

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in railway structures.

• Experience in Railway Bridges, Ballastless Track Slabs, Steel Structures or related railway infrastructure.

• Detailed knowledge of Concrete and Steel Structure Design as per Eurocode and ACI.

• Proficiency in MIDAS Civil, STAAD.Pro, ADSEC or other FEM software.

• Strong knowledge of Structural Behaviour and Structural Dynamics.

• Knowledge of railway track components including Turnouts, Crossovers and Buffer Stops.

• Strong understanding of Track Structure Interfaces.

• Knowledge of railway standards such as AREMA, UIC and EN.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with strong experience in Railway Track Design, Ballastless Track Structures, Structural Design and Railway Infrastructure Projects will be preferred.
